For the fifth time, Henry Wright visited Soquel to preach and call souls to Christ. He was the first Friday evening speaker for Central California 2008 Camp Meeting. He spoke four times in the main auditorium throughout the event. The camp meeting theme for 2008 was "One Magnificent Obsession" and each speaker ties their presentations to the overall theme.
This DVD includes two titles to include the entire service from 7:00pm to after 9:00pm. One title is 75 minutes of the program leading up to the presentation by Henry Wright and the second title is 50 minutes with his message entitled "The Dilemma of Differences"
Arguably one of the most gifted preachers in the church today, it is his intimate, personal, rubber-meets-the-road experience with Jesus Christ that shines through every sermon. During his 43 years of ministry he has been a professor at Oakwood College, a pastor in Kentucky, Mississippi and Ohio, a president of the Allegheny West Conference, and an officer and administrator for the Columbia Union. He has founded community organizations for youth and young adults and preached the Word of God around the world. For the past 14 years, Pastor Wright has been the senior pastor for the Community Praise Seventh-day Adventist Church in Alexandria, Virginia as well as a professor at Columbia Union College teaching Homiletics and Church Administration. His passion and greatest joy is to share the restoring power of Jesus and the endless possibilities His Spirit brings to each surrendered life.
